Weixin Pay for international cards: China visitor guide
TenPayGo is Tencent's iPhone app for international visitors. It can connect Apple Pay or an eligible card to a Weixin Pay QR-code payment flow, but it remains in limited testing.

iPhone shortcut — not your only payment plan
If TenPayGo is available for your account, Apple Pay can make setup easier because you can authorise with the card already in your Wallet. Tencent's App Store listing says the app is for iPhone and connects Apple Pay and credit cards. Availability is still limited, so test a small purchase and retain Alipay, WeChat Pay, or cash as an independent backup.

- Download WeChat and register or sign in with your mobile number.
- Use the official guide to add an eligible international card and complete any requested verification.
- Keep a second, independent payment method available. Do not assume every card or merchant path will behave the same way.
- Arrange mobile data before departure so payment setup and support do not depend on airport Wi-Fi.
